How to put on your face mask for maximum protection and comfort.

Before putting on the anti virus protection mask

  1. Before touching the cloth mask, wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based solution.
  2. Inspect the mask and make sure there are no holes, tears or damage.
  3. It is recommended to wear the mask on bare skin, avoiding contact with hair.
  4. Never modify the mask in any way.

  1. Before touching the protective mask, wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based solution.
  2. Pull the elastic straps and put them around your ears.
  3. Unfold the mask and adjust it over your nose and under your chin. Be careful to only touch the protective mask!
  4. Breathe comfortably!

The 'Indispensable' fabric mask with elastic bands behind the head

  1. Before touching the protective mask, wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based solution.
  2. Holding the elastic straps, place the mask under your chin.
  3. Position the elastic straps behind your head, so that the mask stays firmly and comfortably on your face.
  4. Unfold the mask and adjust it over your nose and under your chin. Be careful to only touch the protective mask!
  5. Breathe comfortably!

Mask with straps behind the head or behind the ears?

The mask with the straps behind the ears is easier to put on, while the straps behind the head offer more airtight protection. Everyone has their preference; it's up to you to find the type that suits you best!

When you wear the anti virus protection mask

  • Avoid touching and moving it.
  • Never leave it on your forehead or chin.

To remove the protective fabric mask

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based solution.
  2. Unhook the elastic straps and place the mask in a secure location, if possible without exposing the interior.

Change or wash your anti virus protection mask

  • When you have worn the mask for 4 hours or longer
  • When you want to drink or eat
  • If it becomes difficult to breathe
  • If the mask gets wet
  • If the mask is damaged.

Fabric mask washing tips

  • It is recommended to wash the mask in the washing machine, at 60°C in short cycle in a washing net. The mask is guaranteed to withstand at least 10 such washes. The lifespan can be extended to 30 washes depending on use.
  • Drying must be complete and very fast (hair dryer, sun). The use of a dryer is not recommended as it may damage the mask.
  • It is possible to use an iron with steam between washes to optimize the washing and the lifespan of the mask. CAUTION: do not iron the Atelier 29 logo
